Vera Gashi Bala

Vera Gashi Bala is a judge in the First Instance Chambers of the Commercial Court of Kosovo. Gashi - Bala graduated from the Faculty of Law - University of Prishtina in 2006. In 2015, she received the title of Ma.Scof Law – Civil Matters, at the Faculty of Law - University of Prishtina, while she passedthe bar exam in 2019. From 2006 to 2010, Gashi - Bala worked in the Kosovo Property Agency, in various positions and finally as a Senior Legal Official. From 2010 to 2016, she worked as a Legal Assistant in the Office of the Chief Justice and then as a Legal Advisor in the office of the Head of the Executive Division in the EULEX Mission. At the end of 2016 until March 2017, Gashi-Bala was the Head of the Cadastre Sector in the Cadastre Directorate in the Municipality of Prishtina. Afterwards, she joined the SMIL project within IMG as a Legal Official, while from 2019 to 2021 she was a Legal/Development Manager. From 2021 to 2022, she exercised the position of Senior Analyst at KJC systems until 07.08.2022, when she was appointed Judge of the Republic of Kosovo, at the Basic Court in Prizren - Branch in Suharekë. On 1 of June 2023, Gashi-Bala was appointed as a judge in the Chambers of the First Instance of the Commercial Court.
