According to the organizational structure of the courts of Kosovo laid down in the Law No. 08/L-015 on Commercial Court, the Department for Administrative Matters operating within the Commercial Court of Kosovo adjudicates and renders decisions on administrative disputes according to the claims against final administrative acts and has jurisdiction over the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

Administrative act means any decision of a public administration, central government and other body that is the outcome of an administrative procedure on the exercise of public authorizations. The Court decides on the legality of final administrative acts.

Department for Administrative Matters reviews and adjudicates all administrative disputes initiated by business organizations against final decisions in administrative procedure.

All matters in the Department for Administrative Matters are adjudicated by one (1) professional judge, unless otherwise stipulated by law.
