Mahir Tutuli

Mahir Tutuli is the President of the Commercial Court of Kosovo. Tutuli graduated from the University of Prishtina Faculty of Law in 2003, and passed the bar exam in 2005. He earned his master\'s degree in 2016 from the University of Prishtina within the Faculty of Law with an LL.M in \"Contracts and Commercial Law\" and he began his professional practice in 2003 with the Kosovo Bar Association. Tutuli has exercised the function of judicial auditor in the Judicial Inspection and Audit Unit Department of Justice  UNMIK from 2005 to the beginning of 2007. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as the Head of the Legal Office in \"Kosovo Enterprise Programme KEP\", and several other companies. Mr. Tutuli was appointed judge at the Municipal Court in Prishtina in 2010, where he served until December 31, 2012. Tutuli was appointed judge in the Basic Court\'s Department for Economic Affairs in Prishtina in January 2013, a position he held until September 1, 2015, when he was also appointed judge in the Court of Appeal. Tutuli has several works published in Commercial Law. Mahir Tutuli was elected president of the Commercial Court of Kosovo on April 21, 2022, for a five-year term.
