Franciska Zhitija Ymeri

Franciska Zhitija Ymeri is a judge in the Second Instance Chambers of the Commercial Court. Judge Ymeri earned her law degree from the University of Prishtina in 2004 and passed the bar exam in 2006. She held her professional practice in 2004-2005 at the Municipal Court in Prishtina. She worked as an archivist at KPA from 2005 to 2007. She worked as a professional associate at the Municipal Court of Prishtina from 2008 to 2012. She was appointed to the Municipal Court in Prishtina in 2012. Judge Ymeri was appointed to the Department of Economic Affairs at the Basic Court of Prishtina on January 1, 2013, a position she held until February 28, 2022. She was appointed to the Court of Appeal of Kosovo on March 1, 2022, and to the Second Instance Chambers of the Commercial Court of Kosovo on June 1, 2022.
