Commercial Court of Kosovo expresses its deep concern regarding the recent articles in several Media that attack the work of Judges of the Commercial Court.
The Court considers that this is not a proper manner to express the potential discontent of the Parties towards the work of Judges. Any dissatisfaction in relation to the work of Judges shall be addressed through existing legal mechanisms, whereas any discontent on Court Rulings shall be addressed through available legal remedies.
This mean of expressing dissatisfaction that has started to become occurence is unacceptable, and in general seriously violates judiciary independence and of the Commercial Court, in particular as a newly established Court.
Therefore, we are requesting from the discontented Parties to refrain from commenting on Court Rulings and personal attacks on Judges, based on assumptions unbacked by concrete facts, because such actions violate public trust and are discouraging for Judges.
As President of the Court, guarantee to all citizens that as a Court we are making maximum efforts in order to strengthen the Court, having an aim to provide efficient and effective justice to all citizens.
