Prishtine, 21.10.2023 – Commercial Court of Kosovo expresses its concern regarding statements of the state officials in relation to the case of rendering the decision to order the security measure, respectively the postponement of implementation of the decision of PRB in the case of “Street A” which is in the proceeding at the First Instance Chamber of Commercial Court.
Content and the rhetoric of media, as well statement of politicians, may have major impact at the public opinion and in the trust towards judicial institutions.
Therefore, it is important to build a culture of respecting judicial decisions and to be careful to not prejudice them, by leaving judges to perform independently and on the basis of the law and facts. Parties are entitled to use legal remedies for the evaluation of the decision from higher judicial instances, thus the matter shall not be prejudged until the final epilogue.
